Bronwyn S

Bronwyn is a dedicated pianist and music educator, holding a Second-Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree from TU Dublin Conservatoire, where she specialised in pedagogy and piano performance. During her time at the Conservatoire, she studied under the distinguished Pádhraic Ó Cuinneagáin and attended lectures and masterclasses led by esteemed educators including Sam Earlwood, Dr David Mooney, and Dr Mary Lennon.

With over six years of experience in instrumental instruction and music education, Bronwyn has established a well-rounded teaching practice across a range of educational settings. Her students have consistently achieved excellent results in graded examinations, with several attaining Distinctions and receiving Spotlight Award nominations. She has also been recognised through multiple teaching commendations for her dedication and effectiveness as an educator.

Bronwyn welcomes students of all ages and proficiency levels, and offers instruction across a wide variety of musical genres, with particular expertise in Classical and Rock & Pop styles. Her teaching approach is highly individualised, aiming to strike the ideal balance between challenge and accessibility. Lessons are tailored to suit each student’s interests, pace, and learning style, with a strong emphasis on developing foundational technique and music theory as a basis for confident and expressive performance. 

Her teaching philosophy centres on fostering a positive, encouraging learning environment in which students feel safe to take risks and learn from their mistakes. She places great importance on cultivating a healthy and sustainable approach to practice and performance, with the ultimate goal of nurturing a lifelong love of music.
